GMAT

Taken for entrance to business schools, this test digs deeper into a student’s verbal, written, and problem-solving aptitude.

SSAT

Much like the SAT, but for private high schools and middle schools, this exam also reviews math, ELA, and writing abilities.

ACT

Similar to the SAT, but with an added science section, and an opinion-based writing section, the ACT is an alternative to the SAT for college admissions.

GRE

Similar to the SAT but for graduate school, this test evaluates a student’s quantitative, reasoning, and analytical skills.

MCAT

Taken for acceptance into medical schools, this test leans heavily on STEM sections and critical thinking skills.

HSPT

Taken for entrance to Catholic private schools, this mirrors skills and assessments followed by the ISEE and SSAT as well.

LSAT

Taken for admission to law schools, this test is scored from five sections of mostly “logic games” totaling 180 points

MTEL

A test for Massachusetts educators to take to gain licensure to teach at public schools for Pre K – 12th grade.

MCAS

This standardized test for Massachusetts students reviews their knowledge in all primary subjects at regular intervals of their education.

ISEE

Similar to the SSAT, this test is used for private high school and middle school entrance.

AP Exams

A test for AP high school students to demonstrate their knowledge and if a 3 or above out of 5 is scored, most colleges will accept it as credit towards their courses.

SAT

Used for many colleges and universities, the SAT is made up of math and ELA sections, totaling to a possible score of 1600 in addition to an optional writing test.
