JBG team members are enthusiastic, organized, friendly, encouraging, and patient. They effectively communicate with their clients, discussing goals, strategies, and a schedule that works for both of them.

Bachelor's degree required. Advanced degree preferred. Tutoring experience required.

Interested candidates may submit their resume for consideration for a position with JBG Educational Group or JBG Counseling Alliance. After reading your resume and assessing your experience, we will schedule an interview. During the interview, in addition to questions about your background and educational skills, you’ll give a minor mock lesson to the interviewer. If the tutor’s expertise and interest matches the tutoring needs of the company, then the tutor will be hired and will attend training and orientation.

JBG employees are provided with training, support, and open communication about how to best support our clients. During these meetings, we focus on curriculum development and creative ways to engage students. Tutors commit to meet with students on a regular schedule, with the flexibility to manage their own appointments.
