Newton Country Day School is an independent, Roman Catholic institute for girls in grades 5-12. With just over 400 students, Newton Country Day is a member of the Network of Sacred Heart Schools, which spans forty-four countries and twenty-one cities in The United States. The Sacred Heart network follows a core philosophy of educating the “whole child” in order to help students develop their faith, intellect, social action, community building, and personal growth. Newton Country Day promotes leadership amongst its young women, both inside and outside the classroom. It offers a variety of classes in different disciplines up through the Advance Placement level, as well as a diverse range of art courses, including visual arts, dance, and theater. Newton Country Day also has many different extracurricular sports teams for its students interested in athletics.
