GMAT

GMAT – Short for Graduate Management Admission Test, the GMAT is a standardized test that one must take to gain acceptance to many business schools. The GMAT assesses one’s verbal, math, and analytical writing skills relevant to business. The GMAT has a quantitative section and a verbal section that add up to a score of 800. The quantitative section of the GMAT consists of 37 multiple-choice questions that test a person’s ability to complete problem solving and data sufficiency questions. The verbal section of the GMAT consists of 41 multiple-choice questions that test a person’s ability to use logical thinking, critically read, and exercise proper grammar. The analytical writing section consists of two essays, which one must analyze an argument and analyze an issue.
